Matson Hill apple orchard with pond is a B&W photo hand-painted with Marshall’s transparent oils. The scene was so monochromatic because of the late-day light that Jack decided to shoot it in B&W and add a pastel sense of sunset in the sky and water with the transparent oil paints. |
